Laser Vision Correction

i-LASIK Eye Surgery

i-LASIK is a laser procedure that reshapes the cornea to correct focusing errors — helping many people see clearly without glasses.

Call Now
i-LASIK combines precise laser technology with detailed pre-operative mapping of the eye. Before recommending it, our refractive team checks corneal thickness, shape and tear health to make sure it is a safe choice for you.

What is i-LASIK?

LASIK (Laser-Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis) corrects refractive errors by reshaping the cornea. In i-LASIK, a thin corneal flap is created with a laser, lifted, and the underlying corneal tissue is reshaped with an excimer laser according to your prescription. The flap is then repositioned, where it adheres naturally without stitches.

Symptoms & signs

  • Myopia, hypermetropia or astigmatism
  • Wish to reduce reliance on glasses or contacts
  • Contact-lens discomfort or intolerance

Causes & risk factors

  • Refractive errors caused by eye length or corneal curvature
  • Often hereditary

Who needs this treatment?

  • Adults with stable spectacle power (usually for at least one year)
  • Adequate corneal thickness and regular corneal shape
  • Healthy eyes without active disease
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of surgery

How it is diagnosed

  • Refraction
  • Corneal topography/tomography
  • Pachymetry
  • Dry-eye evaluation
  • Dilated retina check

Treatment options

i-LASIK

Laser-created flap and excimer reshaping — suited to many standard prescriptions.

Contoura Vision

Topography-guided treatment for selected corneas.

PRK

A no-flap alternative for thinner corneas.

ICL

A lens-based alternative when laser is not suitable.

  3. Laser reshapingThe excimer laser reshapes the corneal tissue in seconds to minutes.
  4. Flap repositioningThe flap is returned to place and adheres naturally.
  5. Rest and reviewYou go home the same day and return for review the next day.
